Summary
Buffy woke up alone and sore, on the bare, hard-packed ground, in a post-apocalyptic world. “Hey Whistler,” she exhaled, it was barely a whisper, she hadn’t enough emotional strength left in her for anything more. “Champion of the people here, the thing is there are no people, no missions, the world is lost, so let me rest. I can’t be a champion of a dead world.”
Every choice she makes rewrites the world.
Every step forward changes the future she left behind.

Summary
Post Chosen and Not Fade Away, not comic compliant. After watching Spike die a second time, Buffy, with Giles by her side visits Spike’s human grave, having no idea the life altering revelation it will lead to.
Six years later, most the world, along with almost everyone Buffy has ever cared about, is gone, and all she has left is the fight. At least, that’s all she has until an old friend comes to her with an opportunity, a chance to change things, to make everything right.
Two weeks later, after her conditions are agreed to, Buffy and Giles’s mind and souls are sent back to their younger bodies, where it is two days before thanksgiving 1999. While there are a lot of things, they both want to change, and things they know they need to, what they are most determined to do is make sure Spike is treated the way he deserves.
