Summary

Rumors spread like brushfire on campus, Rhaenyra had discovered, not only among the student body, but the faculty as well. She felt a flash of anger at the thought of grown adults whispering behind her back - who would ever have figured academics to be such a gossipy bunch?
A part of her defiantly wanted to walk up to Professor Strong during class on Monday and give him a big kiss - tongue and all - right in front of the entire classroom. She smiled at the thought of giving the gossips something to really talk about. But she wouldn’t dare, of course not. Getting her reputation slandered was one thing, but she didn’t want to do anything to put Harwin’s job at any real risk.
