Summary

Apparently balancing a growing relationship with the freckled pool boy is harder than it looks, when coupled with a more than dysfunctional family life, a cheating scumbag for a father, and a seriously lonely existence.
An AU of equal measures fluff and angst featuring pool cleaning, roof-top smoking, lots of parental problems, and mainly shirtless Marco.

he’s silenced by the man stepping closer, just enough for him to curl his hand around childe’s jaw, raising his chin slightly. his fingers are warm on his skin – almost searing to the touch – and childe nearly flinches but there’s a knife poking into his jugular.
“i’ll tell you what. you are going to turn around and leave this place and you are to never return. there is no tower in the woods, nor is there a man living within it.”
childe wants to bite his fingers off. childe wants to snarl at him and hiss and scream, what if i don’t? what will you do?
“rest assured, if you do come back, i’ll have the wolves tear you to shreds. heaven knows they’re starving.” the man says the last part with a smile. his eyes crinkle and there’s a flash of pearly white teeth and to put it simply: he’s beautiful. childe wants to spit in his face.
the one where childe runs into a trap that was never meant for him and finds diluc in the midst of it all.

Summary
Three years ago, Diluc was left to bleed out in the snow by the newly appointed Eleventh Fatui Harbinger, Tartaglia, after a long cat and mouse chase across Snezhnaya’s frozen landscapes.
Presently, that same Harbinger decides to waltz right back into Diluc’s life and make him have to reconsider everything he thought about the other man, whether he wants to or not

“...And your name on that?” A disinterested voice replied.
“Uh… Childe with an E.”
“Sure. That’ll be right with you.”
About five minutes later, that same voice called out.
“Order for Childe?”
Picking up his drink, Ajax felt himself blank for a half second. In handwriting that was far too nice for any customer service employee, the words ‘Child with an E’ were written clear as day. His quickly heating face was made so much worse when he looked up and saw what was probably the most beautiful man he’d ever laid eyes on, who was giving him a little amused smile from over the counter.
