Summary
They were children once. When summer afternoons stretched endless, scraped knees marked their worst wounds, and Xaden Riorson carved her name into river stones. A time when the world held space for friendship and blooming love.
Some children inherit their parents’ eyes. Others inherit their wars.
Rebellion came. Execution orders followed. Loss tore them apart and flung them to opposite sides of a war they never chose.
War orphans don’t choose sides.
And now Astrea Ysoria knows how to mend broken bones, but not herself.
But fate hurls Astrea into the Riders Quadrant with the one person who knew her before everything broke. Every breath burns with betrayal. Every glance ignites something forbidden. And she learns some hungers devour you whole.
This is the story of wounds that refuse to heal. Of loving someone you’re supposed to destroy. Of discovering that the cruelest inheritance isn’t death—it’s surviving it.
In a world where dragons soar and loyalty bleeds, Astrea must choose between duty and desire, between the child she was and the weapon she has become.
Some loves are worth dying for. Others will kill you first.

Summary
Prior to Xaden's third year, your relationship thrived. You became each other's comfort in the storm of Basgiath - until the General's daughter turned up in the Rider's Quadrant.
At first it was simple - then it wasn't. The minute she bonded Tairn, everything changed. Not sure if it was you that pulled away or the result of being pushed aside, you let the unworthiness fester. Then you took matters into your own hands, disappearing, just like your signet.
Little did you know, Xaden was torn. He didn't know how to balance it all and in trying to find the balance lost everything. He'll stop at nothing to get you back, to make you understand your worth - but, is he too late?

Summary
In her first year at Basgiath War College, Ivy Sorrengail went from a cadet raised to believe in justice, honor, and sacrifice for her country, to a rider prepared to commit treason to do what is right.
Now that she knows the truth her country tried to bury she has to tread a careful line between a pawn to Navarre's crown and a queen to a country that would rather see her executed for her mothers crimes, than lead it.
However, iron is forged from the hottest flames, and she would rather burn than let everyone she loves succumb to the true darkness that lurks in the shadows.

Summary
If you asked most people about Ava Melgren you'd get the same answer. She's a spoilt brat that's unfortunately pretty good at what she does.
And that's exactly how she wants to be seen. Exactly how she's carefully crafted herself to be perceived. It's how she has to continue to be perceived if she is to remain alive.
Because she has a secret. A secret that could get her, and everyone she commands, killed. She's leading another rebellion. Or as she likes to call it: a revolution. Xaden Riorson's band of smugglers can pack it up because she's not messing around.

Summary
Six years after Tyrrendor’s successful defection from Navarre, the continent stood on the cusp of an uneasy alliance. Tyrrendor flourished, united under King Fen Riorson’s leadership. Poromiel thrived under the guidance of Queen Maraya Cordella, its military strength bolstered by advances in gryphon-mounted warfare. Navarre, led by the increasingly enigmatic King Tauri, struggled to maintain its veneer of dominance while hiding the truth about the Venin’s threat. Amidst this backdrop, the city of Calldyr in Navarre became the host for a historic leadership summit, its grandeur a thinly veiled attempt to project power.
