Summary
Old memories have a funny way of sneaking up on you at the most unexpected times, like they're playing tag with your emotions. This time, though, Jack's not alone. Perhaps it's time he told his story- the story of how he met, fell in love with, and lost Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III, resident fishbone, secret dragon tamer, and the most beautiful boy Jack had ever met.

Summary
Jack doesn't understand his episodes, those little moments where he swears he catches a glimpse of another life. The in-between, stuck knowing no matter how many questions he might have that an answer will never come.
It's kind of hard to stay mad for long, though, when his boyfriend is off getting himself killed trying to dismantle a new dragon hunter group. He can't help but tag along.

Summary
Everyone knew about the tales the children of Berk were raised on: elves and vaettir, wicked and clever beings slinking in the shadows to steal or kill with a sharp tongue.
Hiccup had never given much thought to these stories, until he meets something while trapped out in a blizzard, and finds a whole new world opened to him.

Summary
It's the first winter after Pitch's defeat. Jack is happy, he's not alone anymore, and his memories are gradually returning. But when a treasure hunt gone wrong puts Jack and Jamie in danger, flinging them through time and space, they find themselves on an island neither of them have heard of before. Jack's first priority is to get Jamie home safe, but Berk's inhabitants - human and otherwise - are certainly not making it easy.
Knowing they will leave Berk and the Vikings behind as soon as they know how to, Jack is not going to risk the pain of growing close to any of these people (or dragons, for that matter). But Hiccup Horrendous Haddock, wearing his heart on his sleeve, doesn't seem to want to take the hint.
