Eddie and Buck take Chris camping, it's something he's never done and Buck had the idea to take him there to explain the studies from the philosophy class that Chris is taking at school, where he is at the scientific Revolution. It ends up being more then that as the night goes on.

Eri is sick with a fever. Both her and Katsuki have been adopted by Hawks after he rescued them from their families.
Katsuki is 16 years old, Hawks or Takami Keigo is 25 years old and Eri is 7 years old. Keigo saved Katsuki when he was 19 years old and Katsuki 10, meanwhile he saved Eri when he was 24 years old and she was 6.

It’s such a simple revelation, but the weight of it leaves Buck breathless. Leaves him fighting back tears, and losing. Because it’s true. Because he might not be five, or twelve, or nineteen, or twenty-five, but - isn’t he all of those ages? Won’t he be those ages forever?
All of that hurt still lives inside of him. Maybe it won’t ever go away.
