Eddie had enough of Symbiotes in his life except for one. Venom was the only bearable representative of his species to live with, a good anomaly from the norm.
Not that Eddie knew many Symbiotes besides Riot who almost led to an invasion of brains-thirsty aliens. Then Carnage happened, and well, there was nothing more to expect than his name gave out.
To sum up, Eddie had ONLY bad experiences with the Symbiotes.
