Lyra Draconia Malfoy and the Malfoy family were born with a skill unique to only them; parseltongue. The Dark Lord was defeated when attempting to kill Harry Potter, and in this universe never came back. Harry was still able to understand parseltongue because of his encounter, and is the only one able to understand what Lyra sometimes says. Antics ensue from Lyra not knowing this.
