Summary
Peter Parker has the sudden realization that there is a giant May-shaped hole in his chest that he had never slowed down enough to feel. Except now he does feel it, and it feels like it's tearing him apart from the inside.
But letting this bother everyone else would be incredibly selfish, it's not Tony's fault he didn't mourn his Aunt properly when she died. He can get over it and nobody needs to know. Like ever.
This is a sequel to a series started a few fics ago, so you should like totally read that to better understand this. It's really good, I pinkie promise.

Summary
Aunt May is dead. One drunk driver and Peter Parker is officially alone in life.
He's too numb to be anything other than resigned when he's placed in a Catholic Home for Boys. And he's not Catholic, but he's pretty sure the Fathers aren't supposed to be as cruel as the ones that run this home.
It's in this hell that Peter befriends the other boys in the care, including one Harley Keener, a sarcastic southener who shares an affinity for science. And so it's not even Peter's fault that he starts to teach the other boys how to code. They asked him to. And so what if the first thing they do is hack into Tony Stark's website. They aren't going to change anything.
Tony Stark is not a father. He never will be a father, and the sooner Pepper admits that the better they all will be.
However on a search for a new design to highlight at one of his charity galas, he stumbles across this random kid's old science project. Some dorky teen named Peter Parker. So naturally he just wants to talk to the kid. That's it. Nothing more.

Summary
Peter Parker's known for his entire life that things just don't work out for him. Not with an Uncle prone to violence and his apartment on the wrong side of run-down. He's made peace with that, used Spider-Man as an outlet for the hunger and bruises.
But then Tony Stark shows up, dressed in an expensive suit and carrying an internship opportunity. Peter can balance that on top of everything. He can keep a secret, he knows he can. And keeping this from Tony Stark won't be much different. Won't it?

Summary
After Peter is forgotten by the world, it keeps moving. His friends are going to school and laughing while the world still sees him as a masked menace. He's fine with this, even as he can feel his Spider-Man mask growing tighter and tighter. Peter Parker is gone, is Peter even real anymore? Is there anything left behind the mask? Will there be by the time someone notices the ragged vigilante is really just a kid in a dead man's bloodstained suit?

Summary
Spider-Man is not a hero.
In fact, Spider-Man is a child dressed up as a soldier. Or, is he a soldier dressed as a child? Either way, Spider-Man's only objective since he was ten years old was to destroy the Avengers. And so far, he's done a damn good job at it, stealing information from right under their noses to help HYDRA.
Spider-man seems to slip away after every job. To the Avengers, he's nothing more than a pesky fly getting in the way. What happens when they realize he has become a much larger threat than they thought? What happens when they peal off the mask to reveal a traumatized 14 year old that somehow managed to become their number one weakness?
