Summary
The circus members are astounded at the de-abstraction of Jax after being gone for over a year. Pomni helps reintroduce him to the circus, how it's changed, and everyone there. As Jax once again finds his place in this stagnant life, a secret too big to keep looms over him every day. He must find a way to reveal his inner turmoil and transform himself, or forever hold his peace and be consumed from the inside out.

They befriend a peculiar talking flower who offers his help in guiding the human through the Underground and protecting them from the aggressive monsters that inhabit it, going on a journey together that they will never forget.
