What a pitiful attempt, you could almost laugh. You faced forward, crossing your arms petulantly. “Well, you should try harder because clearly, you suck at it.”
Vanitas leaned in, his nose at hair’s breadth from brushing against your cheekbone as he growled by your ear. “Stop it. You put a knife to my throat you crazy woman, you’re no better.”
