Summary
What if Marta and Fina had a chance to use the little apartment in Madrid to explore the city and each other?
Picking up after Fina blows kisses to Marta in the stockroom before they head to Madrid. It's romantic and sexy with a little angst and a lot of love. Touches of historical fiction, focusing on queer Spanish history, are woven into the story (details and context in notes starting with ch 4).
Perspective kinda shifts between Marta and Fina and ch.1 is really an intro to jump off of canon so give it to at least 2 (or better yet 3) to get going.

Summary
The current plot has been pretty tough, so I wrote this.
Healing is a process: it's long, non-linear, and often frustrating. So, this is Fina letting Marta see her naked for the first time since she left jail, taking a step at her own pace.
(btw this has absolutely no flashbacks *I'm looking at you SDL* and doesn't mention *him* by name ever—there's only two references to him, but only in passing. This is only about Marta and Fina)

Summary
Jaime didn't die before they were able to go to Barcelona. They end up in a beautiful apartment close to the beach where Marta and Fina get to live their love while also taking care of Jaime and trying to navigate having to say goodbye to him.
There is a lot of fluff especially between Marta and Fina, but I would have loved to see more of Fina and Jaime and how they share their love for Marta, so there is also that and some heartache following Jaime's disease.
We all know they deserved to go to Barcelona, but suspected it wouldn't happen. This is how I wished it had gone.
