    Summary

Shadow vowed after Maria’s death to never get close to anyone again. No attachments. No weaknesses. Just survival. Then Sonic happened. Loud, reckless, and insufferably persistent, he tore through Shadow’s carefully built walls like they were nothing. Every fight, every chase, every lingering glance chipped away at the barriers Shadow swore would never break. Now, standing at the edge of something terrifyingly real.
