Summary
Zagreus wakes in the wrong body, the wrong year, and someone else’s history.
He knows Percy Jackson — just not twelve-year-old Percy. He knows Camp Half-Blood after a war that has not happened yet. He knows Annabeth, Grover, Nico and Chiron as people they have not yet become.
And somewhere, Percy may be trapped in the history Zagreus left behind.
To get home, Zagreus has to survive Percy’s beginning without becoming Percy, decide how much of the future he has the right to change, and discover what happens when knowing history does not mean knowing what comes next.
The Remnant thought Percy and Zagreus were similar enough to be interchangeable.
History is about to find out how wrong it was.

Percy Jackson has had prophetic dreams before. Usually they don't involve a stranger with burning feet dying in an Underworld that shouldn't exist—then getting up the next night and trying again.
Zagreus thought he knew the shape of his father's realm. Then one impossible passage takes him somewhere with another Styx, another Hades, and a son of Poseidon who insists none of this should be possible.
Two versions of Greek mythology have begun to overlap. Percy, Annabeth, Nico, Zagreus, and Melinoë have to figure out why before the overlap decides there is only room for one history.
