Summary
After everything that they had been through together, Will Byers is sure one thing remains unchanged: his feelings for Mike Wheeler are one-sided. Though he's living in the Wheelers' basement, he tries his best to get over Mike and fully accept himself with the help of Robin Buckley. Mike, meanwhile, is struggling with emotions he doesn't yet understand and a twisting feeling in his stomach at the thought of Will and Robin getting close so quickly. Misunderstandings grow, jealousy simmers, and buried feelings refuse to stay quiet as the boys figure themselves out.

Summary
His hands were cupping his face, the pressure of his fingers against the wound making him scream again. He couldn't see, his eyes blurred with tears and pain in a way that made everything fuzzy,
No… wait… only one of his eyes was bouncing around wildly, eyeing the snarling Demogorgon that was sniffing at the fresh splatter of blood on its claw. He was watching it, a keen rising in his chest when he realized that it was only out of one eye.
It was- It must've been the blood that was making it hard to see, the blood was gluing his eye shut, that was why he couldn't see. He cried out when the Demogorgon turned back towards him, flinching away when it roared in his face, tensing like it was about to lunge.

The Demogorgon got to Mike a few seconds earlier, claws ripping through fragile skin and now Mike had to fight to heal and adjust while trying to rescue his sister from an inter dimensional monster. Which is actually pretty hard when he's in pain, drugged to the gills, and can't stop blurting out things that he would really rather not. Case in point: the Quarry, the box of unsent letters in the back of his closet (Ironic, yes, he knows) and his embarrassingly massive crush on his best friend.

Summary
Claudia makes up a bed for Steve on the living room couch. She’s kind—fussing over him, making sure he has enough pillows and blankets, insisting that he stay here as long as he wants. Steve watches her double-lock the front door and check on Dustin at least five times before she goes to bed. Steve doubts she’ll really sleep.
Steve’s grateful, and it’s comfortable, but he’s not going to sleep, either. Not while Dustin is alone in the other room.
He hopes Dustin doesn’t have any nightmares. He hopes his face doesn’t hurt too much, and that he doesn’t wake up with a splitting migraine. He hopes he isn’t crying himself to sleep. He knows he probably is.
