A mixture of horror and nauseous rage washed over him. He knelt down in front of her, “What? You’re not even going to look at me?” His voice was angry. Because if it was angry it couldn’t be sad.
--After becoming the Vampire Ascendant against Tav's wishes, after forcing her to stay with him, Astarion must deal with the consequences of irrevocably shattering Tav's mind.

"Lives eternal in each other's arms. What more could anyone want?"

You look… comfortable. A mite over-exposed, given the perils of our adventure, but I suppose it adds a thrilling edge to leave oneself so open to danger, and… other things
Astarion likes to show you off, Gale does not. They have a playful rivalry for you to indulge them, but you do so according to your own whimsy. And sometimes to work them up. Sometimes it bites you in the ass — or is that just according to plan?
