Thin hands and bony fingers clasp one another as the estate comes into a view. An old castle it seems—be it from the 14th century or older Dopfer knows not, but it matters little. A smile spreads across his face, and he turns to the ranker, placing the spyglass back into the other’s hands.
“Come, quickly now Ferdinand," A crinkled map is hastily pulled from a horse’s burden of ammunition and important documents. “If we can make it there by nightfall we may avoid the vampires heading for France.”

“Ah, here we are…” Jean murmurs and lifts his silverware with utmost delicacy as china is laid out in front of him. “What is the occasion that you invited me over for Karl?” His brows furrow slightly, spoon dipping into the smooth cream of an Earl Grey posset. “All these new deserts,” Jean’s dark eyes now flicker over to the pile of pomegranate caramels and mountain of clementine confites. “Planning to change the menu at last?” He hums, an easy smile returning to his face.Jean taste tests desserts for the new menu and speaks with Karl.

Blücher was in quite the desperate situation if he was to listen to Wellesley. An even worse situation than that would be to take the man’s advice.
“I thought that you’d be smart enough to know how to run your own tea house.” the British man huffs, coolly putting down his phone and unwrapping his scarf. The large snowflakes clinging to the man fall to the floor at this, and Blücher’s eye twitches, miniature puddles forming on the floor.“Don’t get comfortable.” Blücher snaps.
The old tea house that Blücher owns is losing is customers and Wellesley suggests to make a Maid cafe—Karl agrees with the British man for once.

Crawford taps his finger on the dark bottle in his hand, observing the Frenchmen beneath him. A fair symbol of what France was at the moment. Russia was off flirting with the British, the rest of Europe had been turned away from France, and that left only the States of America for France to mope and complain about their woes.
