Summary
Jude's life is seemingly turned upside down when Cardan, the high school bully she never thought she would see again, resurfaces at their college. They are forced together for a group project and against all odds, Jude starts to enjoy her time with Cardan. She grapples with her old feelings and budding new ones all while just trying to have a good college experience.
Basically, a real word AU where Cardan bullies Jude in high school, but he seems to be a completely different person in college. They both have /trauma/ and struggle to navigate the complexities of their new closeness. There’s a little bit of a slow burn and down the line there will be some steamy chapters, but I will do my best to mark these chapters as well as reiterate important information from them in later chapters. Basically, if you don’t want to read the explicit chapters you won't have to.
