A sharp claw grabs me back towards him. His many voices speak as the one eye gets closer. A smiling face shrouded in darkness.

Or, a former employee of Playtime Co, Skye has seen every awful thing the company has done. She was also a doctor who had gotten close to Oliver Ludwig (now known as the Prototype) during her time there.
An unexpected letter from her old workplace draws her back into the decaying factory 10 years later. While Skye ends up losing sight of Poppy in the vents, she ends up crossing paths again with the Prototype; being forced to face their past together in ways they never have.
But better now than never, wasn't it?

(Or, an alternate reality in which instead of an ex-employee going back to the factory after receiving the letter in Chapter 1, their kid went instead. Loosely inspired by Press Start to Laugh’s “if Player could talk” videos, but with its own storyline)
