In the end, it had taken only 2 days of begging for Sari to get everybody on board.
She didn't need to convince Bumblebee and Bulkhead, as a mere suggestion of the idea and she was met with immediate and enthusiastic yeses. Prowl had been a little harder, but the human intrigue of movies helped, as did Bumblebee’s constant pestering.
Optimus never really had a choice either, living up to every part of his role as team dad, just a gentle happiness at being able to bond with his teammates. And while Ratchet complained, Sari secretly knew he was happy to be included too. Probably.
She had grabbed a pile of random movies from her dads collection, and now their first team movie night marathon was about to commence!
What could possibly go wrong?
Or: When an unexpectly dark scene is shown during the first team movie night, Bumblebee is suddenly thrust into the past.

“Hmm?” The purple Troll chuckled. “Now now, you aren’t abandoning me out here, are you mate?” Creek asked, voice pitched in an innocent, questioning tone that Branch knew from experience was laced with an underlying venom. “I did hear you Brozone members were good at that.”
Branch freezes.
“But then again,” Creek perched his lips, finger tapping them in wonder as he squinted his eyes. “-Wasn’t it your fault they left? Hmm Bitty B?”
Or, Pre-first movie, Creek attacks Branch.
