Whilst on the Quest, Bilbo decides to do a little foraging to boost their bland supplies. He doesn’t mind so much when the young princes come with him, especially as they listen and learning as they help.
That is, until they stop listening, and well, Bilbo was taught that you reap what you sow, and he supposes that now it is the prince's turn to do the same.

Summary
In the battle, the Book of Mazarbul was struck by the cave troll, the pages scattering all across the room and Gimli cried out, the sound a low roar of pain in the din of battle. The pages were mashed into the floor, covered with the blood of goblins and the cave troll and as the battle stopped and they were left alone in the room, Gimli fell to his knees, gathering up as many pages as he could find and stuffing them inside the vest of his armor, the last pages written in Ori’s hand still clinging to the cover on Balin’s broken tomb.

Summary
Shortly after midnight, Bilbo Baggins crept through the halls of Erebor like the burglar he was. If most burglars tended to wear a little more than a dressing gown, it was only because most burglars were out to steal more than a few minutes alone.
Bilbo sneaks into the baths at night, hoping for a chance to wash up privately. Fortunately, his plans go awry when he sees Thorin already bathing alone. After watching the king for a while, he overcomes his hesitation and joins his friend.

Love this! And feels so real, so plausible. Public and group baths existed in real world ancient times. So seems logical in medieval ish setting of Middle-earth. And so cute!
