Summary
What happens when a professional author tries to write a retelling of the Dream SMP? Apparently this. This is supposed to be a retelling of the story of the Dream SMP with the goal of getting as close as possible to what is canon without being an absolute one-for-one transcript of the livestreams. It is also supposed to make the story of the Dream SMP accessible to anyone, even those who have never heard of it before, while still providing a fun reliving of the story for long-time fans. Thus, there are some clarifications or additions in order to make some parts of the story make more sense and contextualize certain elements for unfamiliar readers. Of course, I will also have my own tweaks and small additions, but they are simply there to make the transition from screen to paper as seamless as possible and to capture the essence of the story when certain elements cannot be easily translated from the original format into a novel form.
