Summary
‘Why?’ Nami asks, again, and when Sanji falls silent at that again, Nami feels her frustration rise. ‘Couldn’t you have just told me? Or why didn’t you just cut Luffy’s diet down, like I said? He eats so much, surely he doesn’t need all of that food, if you could’ve just—!’
‘No.’
Nami pauses. ‘What?’
‘No, Nami,’ says Sanji, and though he looks almost regretful to be saying it to her, Sanji’s voice is strong and unwavering. ‘I won’t cut down Luffy’s meal portions.’
Nami asks Sanji to reduce the amount of money spent on grocery shopping.

‘I’m sending this letter not as a threat, but as a warning for the adversity that is to come.’
Maybe it’s because of all the chaos that he’s starting to get used to with Luffy around him. Or maybe it’s because his fiancé and all his recklessness is really starting to rub off on him—because Law feels the excitement thrum in him as he reads the next part of the letter.
‘I know a minimum of three people heading towards you—Garp, Sabo, and Shanks.’
In which Law receives a letter from Dragon—and finally meets Luffy's overprotective family.

Everyone’s heard of Strawhat. Rookie, he may be, but the guy gets plenty of attention, perhaps a perk of taking actions that relay your lack of fear in earthly powers, god, and death itself.
The Whitebeard pirates find themselves equally drawn in by the mysterious captain with no face or name tied to his deeds and do their best to track his journey through news coos, navy reports, rumor, and any other means they can think of.

It’s gotten to the point that when Zoro stretched his legs out into the extra space, the hand Sanji had left on his knee slid up to his thigh and rested there, both of them paying it no mind.
Okay, maybe that wasn’t entirely accurate. Sanji paid it no mind. Zoro proceeded to have an out-of-body experience to cope with the way Sanji’s thumb was making small circles just off the sports logo of Zoro’s sweatpants.
He probably didn’t even know he was doing it.

“Um, isn’t it kind of important?” Sanji asks, neck craning as he surveys the deck. “Having a navigator, I mean.”
Nami looks up from cleaning her swords with a pained smile. “Well, yes and no.”
“Um,” he says. “What does that mean?”
“We...sort of have a navigator. I’d love to introduce him, but,” she releases a long, suffering sigh. “He’s currently lost somewhere on the island.”
Sanji blinks. “Our navigator is currently what?”
(Zoro is kind of the worst navigator ever, except when he isn't.)

Luffy looks at him intently. “Hey, Shanks, do you have a knife?”
“Huh? Yeah, why?” Shanks questions, though he hands Luffy a dagger anyways.
Luffy smiles. “I’m too recognizable,” he says and then he jerks the blade up and tears through the skin under his eye.
Or: What if Luffy was born a Celestial Dragon? What is he meets Zoro and decides he would much rather be a pirate with him instead?
