Robin’s eyebrows shoot up, and she leans forward, hand on her chin. “How long have they been together?” she repeats, smiling like she knows more than she lets on. “What an interesting question.”
Brook has the wrong idea about Zoro and Sanji’s relationship and, somehow, no one ever corrects him.

Summary
All of these thoughts fly out of Sanji’s head when Zoro opens his mouth and asks, “Who are the Vinsmokes?”
Glass shatters at his feet. The room goes deathly silent.
Sanji hardly notices, rooted in place with frozen shock and trying to process the question in a way that makes sense. His disbelieving gaze is riveted on Zoro’s face, and Zoro stares back steadily, revealing nothing. “Where,” Sanji says, slowly, quietly, his voice cutting through the stillness like a blade, “did you hear that name?”
Zou isn't the first time the Strawhats hear of the Vinsmokes. Because apparently Sanji can't keep his mouth shut when he's drugged, sick, and delirious with fever.
Or: Sanji has a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day. But it's okay, because his family is always there for him.

Summary
A series of short fics all set in a world where the ASL brothers lived with the Whitebeard pirates for five years as children. These fics aren't meant to make up a coherent story, they're just little peaks into another timeline. At the moment, I'm not planning on writing a big multi-chap for this AU. It's just something to write for fun in my time off.

He heard the Marine as he dug into another pocket, shifting forward to hold a lighter near the bars, not yet lit.
“The Straw Hats,” He pressed, bartering with the run of the flint, “where are they?”
Sanji slid his heel along the cell floor and caught it alight; not unlike the draw of a match. He dipped his chin and met the flames halfway along his shin, a satisfied sigh falling out at the first draw of smoke.
The Marine froze awkwardly, his hand lowering slowly and his cheeks flushing with anger.
“I’ll never tell you shit,” Sanji smirked, running a hand leisurely through his tangled locks, “But thanks for the cigarette.”

Sanji is captured by Marines and held in prison. His top concerns are getting his kind-of-sister-in-law to safety and making sure his captors call him the correct name. -

Summary
Often times Zoro could be found meditating around the deck. The crew knew not to bother him. Knew that he needed the time to himself. But they were wrong in their assumptions of his meditating. Zoro wasn’t meditating at all. He was praying to the one god he believed in. One who was promised to someday return. One who valued strength and freedom above all. His one true god—Nika. And through prayer, Zoro believed he would be blessed, believed he would grow stronger, believed when at the end of his days that Nika would see all that he had done and find him worthy of a place at his side.
In which Zoro worships Nika and this changes nothing.

“Hey there,” Sanji said as the man approached the counter, offering him a smile as he recognized the trio of earrings dangling from the man’s ear. “Just black coffee for you, right?”The man looked up at him, their eyes locking for a moment. Piercing gray met blue, and Sanji felt his smile falter as the other man swallowed nervously.
“Can you add a shot of blueberry to it?” the man asked, eyes darting up to the menu quickly before looking back down to the register.
Sanji blinked. “Blueberry? Like the syrup?”
...
Days later Zoro sighed, wondering if Sanji remembered him. He could have been Small Black Coffee guy. That was cool. Now he was probably Blueberry guy.
Sanji and Zoro meet at a coffeeshop, but both remember it a little differently.

You are my new favorite,” he says frankly, jabbing a finger in her direction and gesturing expansively with his mug of water. “I missed out on three years of stupid little brother antics and this is exactly the kind of story I want to hear, so I can lord it over him, as is my right.” He flops back against the railing, chuckling. “A fucking barrel,” he wheezes.
