He had no idea that the creature he'd be summoning would just be a normal woman from a magic-less realm named Mol. The guilt carries him to follow the path a goddess sets the two on to grant them a wish for Mol to go home.

Welcome to Sinyala Facility for your new life with the Murkoff Corporation!
Doctor Levodius has a problem. Everytime he is assigned a new aid they are quickly 'dismissed'. To be clear 'dismissed' is code for they're usually killed gruesomely by his patients. Doctor Levodius oversees the wellbeing of the Prime Assets of Project LATHE. He cares little to protect his aids if they're so incompetent to not be careful around the Assets.
Yet, his new aid perplexes him. Easterman speaks highly of her and gives her the position of Levodius’s aid. He doesn't understand why yet doesn't question it- at first. He starts to find her definitely untrained yet knowledgable ways of treatment peculiar. Perhaps she is finally someone intelligent enough for him to protect a little despite her obvious signs of truama and amnesia.
