Summary
After their reunion in Cairo, Jack and Ana follow closely behind Talon's Reaper with the help of an informant who knows the wraith's every move. Overwatch is rebooting, and Ana wishes nothing more than to stop this escapade, but Jack can't seem to let go. However, things only seem to head further downhill when Talon takes notice of Reaper's newfound followers, and they decide to take measures into their own hands.

Jack and Ana chase after Gabriel with inside help. Ana wants to stop this manhunt, but Jack can't let go of one of his closest friends, whom he cares possibly more for than he initially realizes. Things get messier when Talon decides to take this opportunity of Jack and Ana's mission of following Gabriel as a way to capture and possibly use the old Soldiers to their benefit against Overwatch.

Batsy likes to watch Joker do his face in the mornings. Joker likes that he watches.
Batman had watched him sleep. He liked to do that, to watch Joker sleep – he didn’t do it just when the two of them fucked. Sometimes, Joker would stir and open one eye to the sight of a silhouette on his floor, a shadow in the corner, or a sudden sound of shifting leather. Sometimes, he woke to no sound or smell alone, but could smell that the Bat had been there, smell his kinky outfit and his sweat and the lingering tang of his explosive gel, and he’d know that the Bat had been there, stared over him while he was unconscious.
The last time at Arkham, he’d been there a few nights a week, even if only for an hour or so. The shrinks used to tell him he was dreaming, but he knew better.

Jack is recovering from a near-fatal stabbing. Gabriel has a point to make to the person who permitted the stabbing to occur. They get distracted on the way there — Jack's always been at his prettiest when he's out of his mind.
Jack doesn't remember being carried downstairs. He remembers waking up, he thinks, the world hazy and soft around him, the feeling of Gabriel pressing around his surgical sites with near clinical precision. He remembers thinking, oh, he didn't leave those marks, he's going to punish me, before vertigo hits him hard as a car crash. He gives into it, and drifts. He doesn't know for how long.
