The moment so soft and slow Glinda briefly considers that this may be a hallucination of some sort. That her brain is exercising some sick torture on her with memories of unspoken nights…
Then Elphie’s hands are on her waist again and there’s a breathy whisper against her lips, “Hold out as long as you can.”
