Stelle paused, waiting for his response. It doesn't come for several hours, leading her to wonder just what he was managing to do in the archives for all of that time. When her phone does ping with a message from him, she's left even more bewildered.

Stelle stared at her phone, rereading the message several times. She blinked once, then twice, before her features drew into a nasty scowl. Just what was going on with him?

Summary
Motoyasu had always found the Shield Hero rather beautiful for a man. At first, he couldn't possibly believe that someone with such a lovely appearance could be a man, much less one only one year younger than him. Even after Myne came forth, showing the hero's supposed true face, he couldn't help but find something about them odd.
How could such a beautiful person turn out to be so vile and cruel? Especially so towards women? Assaulting women, using slave crests to force others to obey... How could someone have the will to do such a thing?
Time passes, and as he learns more about the corrupt hero, something seems incredibly off about them.
It's only when he follows them as they walk into the night that the doors to truth open.
