Summary
Castiel’s father is dying.
As a registered nurse, he’s the obvious choice out of the four Novak boys to uproot his entire life to care for him, despite the fact that Castiel hasn’t spoken to his father in nearly 20 years. So he’s stuck living in rural Kansas with a cranky former pastor and a car that won’t run. Luckily the best mechanic in town takes interest in the broken-down classic, even convinces the old man to restore it. And that’s not the only thing Dean Winchester takes interest in.
Except in Lebanon there are things you just don’t do and Dean knows the rules. You wave at your neighbor, your butt is in the pew on Sunday and boys DO NOT kiss other boys. Castiel can’t be with a guy who’s still in the closet and Dean can’t convince Castiel that it’s safer that way.
That’s just how it is in Lebanon.

Adding to a series so those who want to can subscribe (part 2 will take a while.)Feeling bold on a Saturday Wade told him, batting his lashes over chopsticks full of Lo Mein, that staring wasn’t polite.
“Dunno what you're talking about,” Logan insisted, slouching in his chair with a scowl. “And stop chewing with your mouth open, for god’s sake.”
“How do you know I’m chewing with my mouth open if you aren’t watching?” Wade asked sweetly, batting his eyes.
Logan growled. “The neighbors upstairs can hear you smacking your gob.”
“Okay, then. Shall I stop eating?” Wade asked, making a production of leaning to abandon the Chinese takeout box on the coffee table.
Logan’s hand shot out, grabbing his wrist before he could finish. There was something a little wild in his eyes, a little–Scary.
“Finish it,” he growled.
----------------Logan's acting strange. Wade's not the fastest at catching on.

"You're lucky you're good looking. This is the only way you'll get anyone to sleep with you, kid," Logan tells him, shaking his head.

Summary
Logan was truly thankful for the life he had been given by Wade Wilson. He finally had a place to call home, a place that felt like one. For the first time in a long time, people treated him as an equal, nobody here knew of his infamy back home, they didn't know him as the man who killed the X-Men, and they didn't treat him like 'the worst Wolverine'. This really should've brought him peace, however, no amount of kindness and respect could quell the thoughts that crept in at night. The guilt and the pain and the flashbacks that tortured him night after night. Unable to weather the storm alone, Logan reluctantly accepts the mercenary's offer to try and help him through this, unknowingly signing himself up for a lot of sleepless nights for entirely different reasons, but at least they were much nicer to think about.
