Summary
Lancelot nods while looking at the sobbing baby. Then the mysterious thing happens:
Vane meets Lancelot's eyes for a moment and then both of the very young boys stop and freeze up in their mothers' arms. Lancelot's world, which has been in grayscale up until now, seems to burst with sudden vibrancy, covering everything he sees with these different and unfamiliar hues and making the scenery more lively than he ever thought it could be. It's all so much that Lancelot can't do anything but stare with his eyes and mouth open. He whips his head to look around the room in wonder and then brings his gaze back to the small baby across from him.
A very small smile appears on his lips as he keeps staring at Lancelot. And Lancelot smiles back as he looks at Vane's soft blond hair and green eyes. It's still weird and he doesn't understand where all these vibrant hues came from, but he decides that he likes them. And that he likes Vane as well.
