"Why is this so hard?" Hyeonjoon whines into his whiskey, cheeks already flushed pink from drink. "They're treating me like a little kid who doesn't know anything! Is it too much to ask for my board of directors to trust me?"
"They will, with time," Sanghyeok says, his hand gentling to a comforting pat on Hyeonjoon's head. "Have a little patience, Hyeonjoon-ah."
Hyeonjoon's head snaps up, so quickly it startles Sanghyeok. "How long, hyung?" he asks, his tone suddenly serious. His eyes are burning as they stare straight at Sanghyeok. "How long until you stop seeing me as a child?"
Sanghyeok's breath catches in his throat, his pulse suddenly pounding in his ears. It's like he's been frozen in place, unable to do anything but stare back at Hyeonjoon.

Johnny raised a brow before laughing, eyes crinkling from how hard he was laughing, "Yeah, right!"

Taerae watches Jiwoong through the cameras almost every night of his life, and now, uncertainty about the job giving them pause for the first time, he realizes how much he cares for Jiwoong’s safety.
It’s annoying. Jiwoong is annoying. He’s not allowed to die so that Taerae can continue to call him annoying.
