Summary

For V, it was always something more. That same damn question above all the others ringing out in her mind, trying to find meaning in this waning life. All she wanted was to matter.

Loathe as V is to admit it, Johnny’s right. So Mi and the FIA are not to be trusted. So when Colonel Kurt Hansen approaches her during his party (the very one she crashed as gonk as it sounds) for a little intimidation sesh, V realizes she has another option to take. One that might just let her flip the tables on those who would manipulate her for their ends. And V is just desperate enough to take it. Because if she has to dig her own grave, she might as well make sure it’s a comfortable one.

Summary
A single action can change the course of the future in wildly different paths, and such is the case for V, who found themselves set on a course greatly different than expected.
Needing eddies for info, an offer seeming nearly too good to be true arrives right on her doorstep, and even with so many red flags around it, she takes it, leading herself down a road she probably would've never taken, teeming with knowledge of things that should have either never or later come into her purview, and a piece of history that probably should have never left its tomb.***
This story takes a far more alternate take on Phantom Liberty, having V play a much more... Informed role in the story, alongside having another voice in her head, and powers that probably shouldn't be in the hands of a gonk such as our dear Valerie.
What would change, and how would things turn out in the end? Only time will tell...
