A week after his return from the underworld, Vergil finds himself pondering his life among the desolate remnants of his old home in Redgrave, when an intrusive figure interrupts him.
For her part, Lady reluctantly embarks on a strange mission that Dante – as usual – doesn't give her much information about, precisely in the infamous town of Redgrave."Why lie and send Lady on a false mission to meet Vergil?"
The last thing Dante wants is to hint at his reasons, but seeing that Trish wouldn't leave him alone...
"I thought maybe they could get over their differences," he shrugs.

Una semana después de su regreso del inframundo, Vergil se encuentra reflexionando detenidamente sobre su vida entre los vestigios desoladores de su viejo hogar en Redgrave, cuando una figura intrusiva lo interrumpe.
Por su parte, Lady se adentra a regañadientes en una extraña misión de la que Dante —como de costumbre— no le da mucha información, justamente en la infame ciudad de Redgrave.—¿Por qué mentir y mandar a Lady en una falsa misión para encontrarse con Vergil?
Lo último que le apetece a Dante es dar a entender sus razones, pero viendo que Trish no lo dejaría tranquilo...

The interest the others had in the trio was something that stuck with him. They were all dead, but… they probably wouldn't want him hurting them. It's not something he should care about. He shouldn't be feeling so conflicted in the first place. He's a demon, for crying out loud! Emotions were beneath him, and so were friendships.
He's just… waiting for the right time to strike. Yeah. Preferably when they're separated. Take them out one at a time. They're stronger when together, so it was the obvious route to take. And Baby was patient, to an extent.
He had access to the bank account Jinu had been using during their stay here, so it's not like he'd need to work for money any time soon. The trio doesn't know he's alive, and they certainly don't know about this apartment, either. He can hide out here and keep an eye on them without their knowledge.
And when the time is right, he'll kill them.
