Well, perhaps 'letter' isn't exactly the right word. There's no envelope or fancy stationery; there's only a slip of paper, folded in half and crinkled in the corner. Curious, Reo carefully picks it up and unfolds it to reveal its contents:
I'm in love with you, I think.
No greeting, no flowery language, no grandiose proclamations, no signature. Just a simple message in plain handwriting, slightly off-centre in the middle of the page.
When Reo receives an unconventional love letter from a secret admirer, he can't help puzzling over the writer's identity. What he doesn't realize is that the answer might be much closer than he thinks.
