"His mouth still felt numb, but that was okay. He didn’t need it to escape. He raised a hand to give the doctor a peace sign, only to freeze still when a metallic limb swung into his field of vision. Sonic jolted, mind focusing in on the perceived threat, confused when it stopped moving as he did. Slowly, carefully he flexed his fingers, horror creeping through his non-existent veins as he watched the movement mirrored by the claws.
He… knew that hand. The numbers in his mind came faster, blaring some sort of warning as the strange feeling of panic without a heartbeat became known to him as he looked down, taking in the sight of familiar blue paint. Not a quill or strand of fur in sight. He was… he was…"
After an experiment gone wrong, Sonic and Metal Sonic wake up to find themselves in the other's body. For one, it is a dream come true. For the other, their worst nightmare made horribly real. But as it turns out, things might not be quite as simple for the either of them.

Summary
Snatcher was a much different person than he used to be—and he was thankful for it. Hat Kid is much of the same way, her experiences shaping her to be independent and stubborn. The two really don't realize how similar they are. The more time they spend together, the more they understand just how dependent they can really be. The more they understand how good of a thing that might be.

Summary
Hat Kid has been hiding secrets from everyone she met. A precaution she thought would save her starts a countdown for the end of the world once the Snatcher steals her soul. Every time she dies, the clock is brought five minutes closer to the end. But it can be fixed! All she has to do is fight Snatcher and get her soul back!
Except he disappears with the accidental creation of a time rift. Now she has to find a way to bring Snatcher back AND get rid of an anomaly caused by the rift, and everything just gets a whole lot WORSE.
Time is running out.

Summary
Time travel is a fickle thing, Silver the hedgehog knows that better than most. He has changed the future a dozen times at least, seen cities reversed from ruin and made devastated by new calamities. Today though, time travel will show him something totally different and thrust him into a position the likes of which he has never experienced before.
