Summary
Saintess Neuvillette, known for her servitude to the people, finally reaches the age of thirty. At that specific age, a person of such prestige is obligated to do a pilgrimage around the continent to complete her mission as an envoy sent by God.
Accompanying her on that journey is a banished knight named Wriothesley. Due to his reputation despite being an exile, he’s hired to join the Saintess’ entourage as her personal knight. Known as a knight of conviction and morals, will Wriothesley be able to fulfill his mission or completely succumb to the selfish desires he held towards the sacred saintess?

“Is there a reason you never want to spend your ruts with me?” Neuvillette asks, so direct that he catches Wriothesley utterly off guard. “Is there some fault with me?” Neuvillette asks softly.
Wriothesley’s head snaps back up. “No,” he says. “No, Neuvillette, not at all. It’s… a fault with me.” He rubs his jaw, forcing himself to meet Neuvillette’s eyes even though he wants, very badly, to look anywhere else. “I’m not… When I’m in rut, it’s…” He drives both hands into his hair, holding it back from his face and closing his eyes. “I’m not good,” he finally says, dropping his hands and hanging his head.
Wriothesley has always struggled through his ruts alone, terrified he will hurt a partner, but Neuvillette refuses to let him suffer alone.

Summary
The Iudex’s heart raced in his chest as he closed and locked the door behind him. He heard it then. A dangerous growl coming from deeper in Wriothesley’s quarters, sounding so animalistic that he couldn’t believe it was coming from a human.
“Wriothesley?” called Neuvillette hesitantly as he took a step away from the door.
The growling suddenly stopped. Neuvillette heard footsteps approaching. When he turned his head towards the sound, he didn’t have any time to react. The duke was upon him in an instant, slamming Neuvillette’s back against the door, punching the breath out of his lungs.

Summary
Far in the northern mountains, an arctic fox hybrid, Neuvillette, chose a lonely life away from the noise of pushy alphas constantly trying to win him over. Weaklings, every one of them! How disappointing! He shall not settle for mediocrity.
Amidst the endless and fairly boring polar night however, one of his traps captures a trespasser – a terribly stubborn werewolf alpha named Wriothesley. Now that – that is the kind of strength he’s after! In a rut you say...? Oh, isn’t that convenient! Unfortunately, his positive first impression is not returned, and the wolf’s rude remarks convince Neuvillette he should teach him a lesson in the most cruel manner possible. And... he might just trigger his own heat in the process.
Alas, if he doesn’t want him when he’s nice... he will make him *beg* for it.
