Summary
No one wants to die. No one wants to be thrown to the wolves and left for dead. In their defense Damian’s Grandfather was quite good at manipulating situations. So here he was being prepared for the ritual and he was losing hope he would be able to escape his Grandfather’s clutches before he merged their consciousnesses. He seemed at least vaguely sympathetic, but Damian didn’t see that as helping.

He’s lucky his mistakes were not permanent. That’s what grandfather would tell him before ordering another round of lashings for his failures. Damian bit his tongue and did not comment on the permanent scars his punishments and mistakes left him with.

Summary
Death was not a new concept to Damian Wayne. Not when he died. Over and over and over. Not when the Lazarus Pit flowed beneath his skin. Death wasn't something Damian was worried about .Not when he couldn't die. But holding secrets from his family, who paint him as reckless and too abrasive, is bound to pile up till it explodes. And of course, it starts and ends with Damian dying. Oh, and Jon's there too. Damian blames the start of his unraveling as Jonathan's fault. But, to be fair, its really not as bad as it seems. For Damian at least.

i saw a prompt on tumbler the other day that was like "what if the JL didn't know the bats or their identities OR that they were related until some end of the world thing and i went yes absolutely- how can i make it all about my baby Damian tho? And so heres my attempt at that lol.
The Justice League's watched each robin come and go, and presumably grow, never questioning as to how Batman had a Robin. Or who they were. Were there multiple? They would respects the bats wishes at privacy. That all would be till the league has to help clean up metropolis post-alien invasion- and the newest Robin is missing. Everything’s okay in the end tho :)

Summary
Piggyback rides and comforting hugs, that’s mainly how Athanasia saw Felix Robane. Her father’s most trusted knight and friend is a calm, friendly person that always protected her from trouble yet also encouraged her to step out to what girls her age mostly did despite her usually not caring much— she was much more mature than she looked, after all. This was Athy’s impression of him.
In other words, 5 times Athy heard about the Knight of Crimson Blood, and 1 time she saw him in action.
