Summary
<<“Yeah, that’s—” Sam trailed off, and Dean could see the exact moment the kid’s eyes lost focus and then refocused. “Sorry, what was I saying?” Sam asked politely, and Dean could see just how hard his brother tried every damn time he forgot — how hard he tried not to worry Dean, how hard he tried to remember again.>>
Everything was normal again... except for Sam’s memory, that was. Which happened to be... well, Dean thought it sucked. Sam was just growing tired.
In the second part of this series, we get to see more of the boys’ day-to-day life along with Sam’s new condition — still heavy with angst and hurt/comfort.
You don’t really need to read the previous work, though I highly recommend it!Series

"Obeying Dad, not living my own life, the family business." That used to be Sam’s motto. Now... well, now it's more like: "Trying to remember how I got here, trying not to die, the damn family business"
