This is a work in progress born from a writing exercise on my ongoing Nessian fic. I needed to get inside Eris head and ended up with 15 chapters.

“Tamlin,” she breathed happily, as he plopped down beside her, tucking a flower behind her ear. “The plants miss your music, as do I.” Janet smiled up at him. “Play for us tonight?”
“It’d be my pleasure,” he replied. She caressed his face in appreciation. But as he reached back to touch her, his hands passed right through, her skin turning dark and translucent— until black mist was all that remained of her.
“No!” He croaked, voice breaking as he grasped onto her essence, only for it to slip from his fingers into the ether.
“Janet!” Tamlin bellowed, opening his eyes to the mural of Spring painted across his ceiling by some ancestor long ago.

Where are the Spring fae after the curse was lifted? Tamlin had many lovers, and many friends, and yet we never meet any of them. Enter Janet, a female inspired by the original Tam Lin ballad.
Here’s a one chapter condensed version of a Tamlin fan fiction I’ve been thinking about since the Call Her Daddy interview when I realized Tamlin might never get the redemption arch he deserves. Figured it’d be a fun post for Tamlin Week!

But instead of rescuing Feyre, Nesta gets kidnapped by Rhysand and tricked into a bargain for Feyre's life. She has to rely on her wits to survive Prythian and this evil faerie's mysterious intentions, first Under the Mountain and then the Night Court.
Rhysand can't rationalize why he stole a snarling mortal girl away from the Spring Court. But when he drags her Under the Mountain, first to toy with her and then for some real companionship while in Amarantha's claws, he begins to realize that this odd mortal is more important to him than he wishes her to be.

“Lord Helion,” Eris replied crisply. The infant in his arms let out another small whine and wriggled. “Congratulations are in order.”
Helion’s brow furrowed. Eris wasn’t implying-
“Your affair with my mother bore fruit,” Eris said bluntly, lacking much of the courtly manners he usually maintained. “We cannot keep him safe at the Forest House. Father has been suspicious for some time and… we fear what my father will do to him, if he ever receives proof of his parentage, which he’s sure to get with him in the same house. We can’t guarantee what his powers will be, or who he will resemble in time.”
Eris looked down at his brother, stroking his tiny red head with his thumb. His tone softened as he gazed at the tiny babe in his arms. “Mother has already named him Lucien. I know it would mean a lot to her if you would keep his name the same. She sent you a letter explaining everything,” he nodded at the low table in the middle of the arrangement of chairs, where a folded letter appeared with a pop. “She needs you to take Lucien. Protect him, raise him how she wishes she could raise him.”
