Summary
Months after Pitch’s defeat, Jack Frost senses something wrong in the wind. A whisper of fear. A dream turned dark. Following the trail leads him to a shadow he never expected to see again—weak, wounded, but unmistakably alive. Pitch Black.
Curiosity turns into cautious visits. Arguments turn into banter. And somewhere in the half-light of an abandoned tunnel, Jack begins to question where the line really lies between enemy and something else. Because the Boogeyman might be broken, but he’s not gone—and Jack can’t seem to stay away.
A slow-burning tale of fractured trust, reluctant companionship, and the flicker of something more beneath frost and shadow.

I'M BACK WITH MORE CRACK. A separate Alternate Universe to the "in which" Valentine's piece I posted this time last year, I give you Black Ice Valentine, the Musical. This bad boy (slaps laptop keyboard) has all the fun musical nonsense and angst-to-warmth you could hope for this chilly, Valentine's season~
This AU picks up about a year after the Rise of the Guardians movie.
Cupid has it in for a certain frosty Guardian and a certain dark purveyor of fear. In a music-driven piece inspired by the Disney movie Strange Magic (this really will make more sense if you watch that movie first, or at least this clip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bMxslNiQ6Ts&ab_channel=MarvindeAquino), Jack Frost is stricken with sudden and complete infatuation with the Boogeyman, who finds the situation a little too much to handle. Will the Guardians be able to help break Cupid's spell on Jack, or is the unlikely duo stuck for the romantic holiday?

Boredom can be such a terrible influence. Add the misuse of magic and chaos ensues. As they try to deal with their mismatched abilities, the last thing the Guardians and Pitch need is an opportunistic evil catching wind of their troubles. But that's just the beginning. With a new threat looming over children and their precious beliefs, old enemies will have to set aside their differences to face it. And they'll have to do so fast. There's just one problem: how are you supposed to save the world when your powers are "kaput"?

Through this war of conflicting ideologies, we watch as Jack searches for his place in the world.
