It wasn't fair that Leah couldn't imprint.
It wasn't fair that she had to listen to Sam's thoughts about Emily, knowing that it was her cousin of all people he imprinted on.
As if her life wasn't fucked up already. Having to watch the man she loved move on as if nothing happened.
Sam Uley is still in love with Leah; he will forever feel guilty for hurting her. That wasn't going to change.
Khamani is a childhood friend of Leah and Sam. She had seen it all, witnessed the rise and fall of Sam and Leah's relationship.
While she takes a neutral stance in the situation, Khamani didn't appreciate the way the pack had seemed to dismiss Leah's feelings as if she wasn't hurting. So when Leah imprints on Khamani, things change for either the best or the worst.
