Summary
Quackity tells himself he's fine... and he is!
It's just sometimes he thinks he can hear a hint of Techno's laughter in the wind, or see a flicker of red eyes in his fire at night, or catch a glimpse of his sword striking at him in the flicker of sun off the water and please, Prime, no, not again, NOT AGAIN, NOT–
But that's totally normal. Right...?
---
aka, taking Quackity's Technoblade trauma seriously (except Quackity obviously won't hahaha *laughs in denial*)

Summary
On nights like these Ace hates himself; so vulnerable and needy and foolishly in love... and so very painfully aware of it.
If only he hadn't gone to Marco for comfort. If only Marco hadn't /given/ it to him.
Now he has no recourse but to seek out the stars for company, grit his teeth against the pain, and stumble blindly through the biting numbness in his chest. For who could ever love the burning wreck that is Gol D. Ace?
(If only the stupid bird hadn't thought to follow him outside.)

Summary
Aizawa, to Hitoshi, was the lifeline he never had. There was something about the way he acted, the occasional compliments and appraising looks, that made Hitoshi feel numb inside, like all his worries were melting away.
He never meant to grow dependent on the man. He never meant to be a burden in any way shape or form. But how could he help himself? Aizawa Shouta was the only adult in Hitoshi’s life to have ever offered affection. Aizawa Shouta was the only adult to have ever offered approval. And when everything he had ever craved was right before him, who could blame Hitoshi for getting attached?
It is the nature of a drowning person to cling at a life raft. That is just the way it is.
___Pretty much a direct parallel with Aizawa Shouta Does NOT Have a Favorite Student, only told from Hitoshi's POV instead. Enjoy :)

Summary
Now if anyone were to ask, Aizawa Shouta would insist that he does not, in fact, have a favorite student. They’re all just rising heroes after all; his job is not to focus on who he likes, but to focus on how he can make them better and how he can keep them safe.
But deep in his heart he knows that to say so would be a lie. He may not have a favorite student exactly, but he does have some that he’s particularly fond of. Hitoshi Shinsou is one such student.
___Aizawa's perspective/thoughts on his and Shinsou's relationship and how things progress from a teacher/student mentorship to him adopting his student. Implied Shinsou-is-abused-Aizawa-go-saves-him but mostly just Aizawa-centered analysis of Hitoshi and his behavior
