He was a great child. At least, this was what was written. Some kids were laughing in the background, like the idiots they were, but most, with either a Black-Eyed Susan (Justice), a Forget-Me-Not (Remembering), a purple Hyacinth (sorrow), Poppies (Eternal Sleep) and so many others.
They were all mourning.
A kid in particular stood out. He had different flowers. Purple Blackthorn for this kid, Zinnia for another kid, and Yarrow for another person with a weird name

“I put on ‘survivor mode’ just to watch somebody suffer!” Tommy said, rage filling his voice. He made it to this point only because he was constantly on survivor. After what happened with his family, he couldn’t just act like everything was ok, and like it would take nothing to heal
But it seemed his life just had to make him remember that death would always be there for him. It was waiting for him from when he was four. Maybe it had waited too long
