Summary
Following his encounter with Daiyu Mei, Danny's life is turned upside down leaving him alone and unable to return to the job he used to love. Adrift, he finds a lifeline in a ranch which was left to his family by his Uncle and moves out there to run it. Slowly but surely Danny rebuilds the ranch and with it himself and finds himself looking forward to the future again, a future which might end up including a face from the past he thought was lost to him for good. It’s not the oddest exclamation Eddie’s heard from a person who’s just crashed their car into a telephone pole, but more the way it’s said: something dizzied and a little resigned, as though she is both concussed and mostly just inconvenienced by it. It’s enough for Eddie to peer into the window as Buck heaves at the car door with the jaws of life, armed with a penlight. “Ma’am, can you tell me your name?”
“You’ve got to be kidding me,” the girl says, which doesn’t quite sound like a name to Eddie. He’s just about to tell her as much until she goes, “You’re LAFD Updates man.”

Summary:
When Obi-Wan dies by Anakin's hand, he expects that to be the end.

There were a few things Jango wanted-The Jetii destroyed, Death Watch annihilated, his son to grow up strong and happy, and his soul mate whose mark stained his skin.
He had resigned himself that in order to get the first he might have to give up the last. That was until he met his soul mate and realized he might not be quite as willing to give his soul mate up as he had thought.
Getting everything he wanted would be near impossible. That won't stop Jango from trying.
