She couldn’t see Satoru spending a dime on her— especially seeing he didn’t even bring her back one souvenir during that one trip he was on. But he didn’t have that same stupid smile on his face. In fact, his face was rather deadpan as he looked right at her.
"..You're being serious?" Utahime would ask, surprised.

They had shared too much, given parts of themselves to each other that couldn’t be taken back. Traded pieces of their hearts, walking around incomplete when they weren’t together like this.
