Suddenly, they stood in a pool of light. Orpheus looked at Eurydice, who was smiling even more brightly than the sunlight that gently tumbled down her shoulders.
“Sunlight,” she said, breathless. “How? How can you call the sunlight down here?”
The melody trailed off, and the light and warmth faded. “I don’t know,” Orpheus said. “Maybe when the Lady came to the underworld, she brought the sunlight here, too.”
“And when she up and left,” Hermes said, staring grimly at them both, “it left along with her.”

Summary
The Candle is dependeant on the Madrigal family to keep it alive, but the first warning has already been given, and if somthing dosen't change soon, it will go out long before the last Madrigal could be given his gift. In its desperation, it turns to The Magic that broguht it into existence to save it, Casita, and the family it's been tasked to look over.
The Magic is not sure what to do, it cannot create another candle, another buffer, not in the famlies current condition. But then, it gets an idea.
A second candle cannot be made, but another can be borrowed, from another family. If only for a little while.
