Summary
There was fire overtaking their home, fire in the fields, smoke enveloping the whole of the plains, silhouettes as tall as the house moving against the black of the sky, and Demeter was nowhere to be found amidst it. An arm grabbed Persephone around the waist, pulling her back towards the quickly kindling treeline, and Hermes gave a familiar squeeze of her shoulder before she could scream. The message from her old friend was clear: there wouldn't be an exit route if they waited any longer. She took hold of his arm as they ducked through the flying ash and low-hung tree limbs, escaping the titans' devastation chasing their heels.

“No!” Eurydice screamed trying to pull her daughters off the train when the doors shut in front of her face. The whistle blew once more as the train began and after awhile was out of sight.
“Orpheus, we have to go after them!” Eurydice sobbed, holding her lover tight.
Numb and unable to comprehend the situation, he nods “Okay.”
