Summary
“You’re soulmated,” Bellamy says, and it’s exactly what Clarke feared his reply would be. She waves a hand as dismissively as she can.
“You can still have friends when you’re soulmated.”
He watches her with dark eyes. “You can’t have friends like us.”
--
Soulmates AU. Clarke and Bellamy grow up together... but they’re not soulmates.

Summary
“What are you thinking about?” asked Nezha.
“How I’m going to annihilate you.”
She was utterly serious, of course. But he tossed back his head and laughed. Laughed and laughed. He only stopped laughing when Rin took off her shirt.
--
Canon AU. Rin never could back down from a challenge, and especially not if that challenge was Nezha.

Summary
It’s worse with Bellamy than with her other exes. Maybe because they had been friends since they were kids, and are now estranged. Maybe because Clarke could’ve sworn… back then, she would’ve sworn on her life that he still loved her.
And that just doesn't make sense. Because he's the one who broke up with her.

Exes/Modern AU.

Summary
“A while back the guys in the group said I should, I should, get out more, y’know. See the people I care about again. Reconnect.”
He's not looking at her while he says it, but somehow Karen feels lighter upon those words. She’s someone Frank Castle cares about. It’s been reaffirmed time and time again, but every time he says something like it, a fresh wave of giddiness washes over her.
Still, she can’t help but rib him.
“So you decided to ambush me in a shopping centre?”

Summary
She sneaks a glance at Bellamy; he’s staring into the flames with a closed off expression. His hair is long and curly against his forehead, and he’s got scruff, too. As handsome as ever, maybe more. There's a small scar on his temple that she doesn’t remember.
He’s so familiar, yet… so foreign. Clarke had imagined their reunion a dozen different ways over the years, but never had she imagined it could be like this.
Awkward.

Summary
Clarke sputters an indignant laugh as he takes her elbow and steers her away from the doors. “You won’t let me out of the palace and you’re calling me a difficult person? You,” she fumes, “are insufferable.”
Bellamy merely grins. “Now that’s no way to talk to your husband.”
Clarke forces herself to stalk away before she can give into the urge to throw her glass of wine at him. She doesn’t know why she bothers, though. Somehow, none of their guests seem to notice the clear antagonism between the king and queen, or maybe they just don’t care. And why should they? The two of them are just husband and wife.
They’re not actually expected to like each other.

AU. Clarke marries Bellamy for a political alliance.

Summary
As natural as if they’ve done this a thousand times before, Bellamy's hand slides to her waist, light and respectful and perfectly formal.
The problem is, of course, that Clarke doesn’t want respectful. She wants his hands all over her, pushing her against the wall and—
“I think you’re supposed to sway,” Bellamy says dryly.

Summary
For the past few weeks Clarke has spent every Saturday morning huffing and puffing at the back of the pack and making her lack of fitness known to the general public. And the worst part is—
“Hey, you okay?”
Yeah. Him.
--
Modern AU. Clarke really, really wishes the hot guy in her biking group wasn't witness to her humiliation every week, but no one ever said life was fair.

Summary
Stiles almost doesn’t think she’s going to tell him, but then she says quietly, “I broke up with Jackson.”
“Oh,” he exclaims at the confirmation, jubilant. But then he can pretty much feel her glare through the wall they’re talking through, so he hastily adopts a far more sober tone. “I mean, oh. So sorry for your loss. My condolences. Uh— rest in peace, Jackson.”
“He’s not dead,” Lydia snaps.
“He’s not? I thought you would’ve ripped him to shreds.”
--
AU. Stiles and Lydia are neighbours in their apartment building, and the walls are really thin, which means they get to know each other. Whether they want to or not.

Summary
“What we’ll need,” Kane summarizes, “is someone to lead the mission into Ice Nation territory.”
He, Abby, Clarke, Bellamy, and a few others are crowded around a table in the meeting room inside Arkadia, discussing plans to journey into the Ice Nation. Considering the precarious nature of the unspoken truce following the destruction of ALIE, if even one thing goes wrong on this trip, it’s over— and in this respect, it’s something akin to a suicide mission.
So naturally, there’s no hesitation on Bellamy’s part at all when he replies, “I’ll do it.”
And that pisses Clarke right off.

Summary
“I can’t live without you,” she tells him in a broken whisper.
He’s still reeling, but in that moment the notion strikes him as ridiculous. “Yes, you can.”
“But—I—don’t—want—to,” she grinds out, shaking him by his collar with every word. “Bellamy.”
Her blue eyes are searching his soul and they look so bright that she against all reason must have found something beautiful there; and again that surge of want goes through him. A want to go with Clarke. To go to salvation with the rest of them. To go see what a future could be like with her. He wants that, so badly, and he suddenly thinks he doesn’t have the power to resist.

Or: Earth is the Titanic, and there aren't enough lifeboats. Bellamy doesn't think he deserves to be on one. (Season 4 speculative fic)

Summary
Nothing about Stiles and Lydia, or how they’ve grown together, has been normal. So it feels strange to even label themselves a typical high school couple. Stiles isn’t even sure she wants to be that with him. Maybe she just wants him to be by her side in a fight; to hold her at night when they both can’t sleep; to reassure her that she’s not a monster, the same she does for him.
But does she want him to hold her hand in the hallway on the way to class? Kiss her cheek when he drops her off from school? Take her to prom?
-
Or: Stiles Stilinski tries to ask Lydia Martin to senior prom. Operative word is ‘tries’.

Summary
“There’s no one else to live for anymore.” Clarke utters those words without too much emotion. They’ve had time over the years to reflect on all the people ripped away from their lives. It’s no longer a fierce, stabbing pain, just a kind of endless ache that surges and subsides with every breath they take. After all their efforts, they failed. The story of the Skai Kru would die with them. “We’re the last of our people.”
Bellamy finally looks up at her tone of voice and after a pause he says, slowly, “We don’t have to be.”

Summary
She can’t understand it; after all this time, he still has the capacity to look at her like she’s hung the fucking moon. When in reality all she’s done is batter him physically and emotionally, over and over. She needs him to understand that. “I told you to leave, and you stayed. I told you to run, and you walked towards me.” She swallows. “Why did you do that?”
He’s silent for a moment, not moving except for the thumb that sweeps a pattern of broad strokes across her cheek. And when he speaks, his voice is rough with emotion. “Lydia, don’t ask me that. You know why."

Summary
Clarke sees him for the first time in the dropship, when he’s about to open the door. And when their eyes meet, the first thing that crosses her mind is wow, what an excellent subject for her sketchbook he would be.
Then he opens his mouth, and her fingers instantly stop itching.

Summary
His voice turns all soft. She hates it because it makes her want to turn around and look at him. And that’s a bad idea because she knows how his eyes probably look right now, all wide and golden-irised and framed with long dark lashes that melt her right into the floor. “Are we ever gonna talk about it, Lydia?”
“Talk about what?”
“Right. Please remember that I know your IQ. Don’t play dumb.”
She forgets her earlier resolution not to look at him and wheels on Stiles with a glare. She knows she can’t escape this; she can tell by his tone of voice, he’s going to keep trying. It’s best to face it head on, say something to get him off her back, and then move on. Or at least, try to. Like how she’s been trying to move on for months. “Fine. Talk,” she all but spits.
He doesn’t mince any words. “Why’d you really kiss me, that day?”
[prompt: Lydia and Stiles finally talk about the kiss.]

Summary
“Aww, he’s so cute though!” Her roommate exclaims, still examining the picture. “Why did you two break up?”
Lydia’s fingers tighten around the frame of the photo, and on an impulse she throws it to the top shelf as well, with all the strength she can muster. It makes a loud clunking sound as it hits the wall of the closet and falls onto the bed of sweaters she’s placed there.
Why did you two break up?
Isn’t that the question.
