As he speaks, the orchestra pitches down into the end of the song, and Neville leans to her ear again. “Do you trust me?”
Impossibly, Pansy gives a small, immediate nod. “Yes.”
His grip at her waist tightens, and Salazar, his hand is so big. She can feel the heel of his palm resting on one hipbone as his fingers curl into the other. “Then let go,” he murmurs. “I’ve got you.”
Pansy feels herself tip back, back, light and effortless in his hold as her spine advances toward the floor. Her right leg raises as he dips her, the long slits in her gown allowing her inner thigh to brush against his robes and she can’t help but gasp at the sensation.
