Macaque reaches for Wukong’s sleeping face and lightly brushes his fingertips against his cheek, resisting the urge to dig his nails in and mar that handsome face. Wukong doesn’t stir at all, his breathing remaining light and steady.
“Hey, Wukong,” murmurs Macaque, quiet enough that Pigsy and Tang won’t hear him over the rumble of the T.E.A.’s engine. “Been a while.”

Summary
